Left debut form well behind when easily winning Lingfield novice in February, making all. Should go on improving but may prove vulnerable under a penalty now switched to turf.

150,000 gns Galileo filly who made a promising debut when third in 7f Newmarket (Rowley) maiden last month. Only eighth of 11 at Goodwood next time, though, never a threat after a slow start.

€500,000 Frankel filly who left sole 2-y-o start behind when runner-up in Newmarket novice last month. That form looks much better now than it did at the time and she is likely to progress further.

Sea The Moon filly who outran her odds when sixth of 16 in maiden at Nottingham on debut. Similar form when third in similar event there 2 weeks ago but drop in trip is a possible negative.

Held back by inexperience on debut and took a big step forward when third in Newbury novice (1m) 2 weeks ago, travelled well and not given a hard time. Should do better again back at 7f.

Placed both starts at 2 yrs and came very close to making a winning return in Newbury novice 2 weeks ago, worn down last ½f and well clear of remainder. Drops back to 7f here and sets the standard.

Forecasts

Subtle Beauty (13/8), Malathaat (9/4), Passionova (7/1), Cambridgeshire (9/1), Sweet Enough (10/1), Angel Amadea (14/1), Shaikhena (16/1), Pollinate (40/1), Makinitup (50/1), Moonlit Cloud (50/1), Sienna Breeze (66/1), Pearl Bay (100/1), Grey Sonata (150/1), Sweet Expectation (250/1), Mountrath (300/1), Magna Of Illusion (500/1)

Verdict

SUBTLE BEAUTY built on her 2-y-o promise when a close second at Newbury 2 weeks ago and the drop back to 7f could be in her favour given the speed she showed that day. She shades the vote over Malathaat, who was beaten only by the now-useful Air To Air on the Rowley Course last month. Shaikhena caught the eye at Newbury and remains with potential, along with her stablemate Sweet Enough.

  1. SUBTLE BEAUTY (IRE)
  2. MALATHAAT (IRE)
  3. SHAIKHENA (USA)
