Promising sort. Winner at Kempton in March. Good second of 12 in handicap at Newmarket (7f, good to soft, 5/2) 15 days ago, clear of rest. Likely there is more to come and he looks the one to beat.

Forecasts

Biggles (7/4), Newton Jack (10/3), Spanish Star (5/1), Lordsbridge Boy (11/2), Sarah's Verse (11/2), Handytalk (18/1), Be Prepared (28/1), Grey Galleon (50/1), Heer We Go Again (125/1)

Verdict

BIGGLES looks a progressive type and should be able to build on his solid second at Newmarket earlier in the month. A 3 lb rise shouldn't halt his progression and he should take all the beating. Newton Jack won well here last time and he has to be taken seriously. Lordsbridge Boy has each-way claims too.

  1. BIGGLES
  2. NEWTON JACK
  3. LORDSBRIDGE BOY
