Unreliable type who turned in one of his lesser efforts when sixteenth of 18 in handicap at York (6f, good) 17 days ago. Others more persuasive.
It's now sixteen runs since last win in 2019, and he came in last of 10 in minor event (40/1) at Lingfield (8f, AW) 57 days ago. Hard to fancy.
Improved on recent efforts to win 7f handicap at Thirsk (heavy) 14 days ago by 2¼ lengths from Azano. C&D winner too, so he merits consideration despite 5 lb rise.
Dual 7f winner at Newcastle in February but ran poorly when last of 13 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f) only run since. Needs to get back on track.
Scored at Chelmsford City in November and has continued in good nick, fifth of 10 over C&D (good to soft) 22 days ago when making effort earlier than ideal. Enters calculations.
Useful ex-French 1m winner for Mlle A-S. Crombez though below par this spring. No forlorn hope for new yard. Worth a market check.
Much improved in 2021, and he arrives on a hat-trick after easy 7f handicap wins at Haydock and York this month. Hit with 10 lb rise but still weighted to go in again.
C&D winner but only ninth of 11 in 7f handicap at Kempton when last seen out 6 months ago. Needs to hit the ground running.
Low-mileage colt who scored at Lingfield in April before good second in 7f handicap at Goodwood. He's one for the shortlist.
Dual 1m winner last term who arrives in good nick, not lasting home over 1m2f when fourth at Ripon 13 days ago. Can make his presence felt back down in trip.
Very useful at his best. Yet to hit top form this term, though poorly drawn when fourth in 6f handicap at Doncaster 28 days ago. No forlorn hope off a reduced mark.

Ejtilaab (6/4), Boardman (5/2), Another Batt (6/1), King's Knight (15/2), Azano (8/1), Alexander James (14/1), Via Serendipity (16/1), Hey Jonesy (25/1), Hayadh (28/1), Tadleel (33/1), Mission Boy (50/1), Gabrial The Wire (66/1)
BOARDMAN has really got his act together for Tim Easterby and was most impressive when landing a big-field York handicap so is impossible to oppose despite being hit with a 10 lb rise. In-form Ejtilaab wasn't seen to best effect at Chelmsford last time so rates the chief threat, although C&D scorer Another Batt and handily-weighted Via Serendipity can both have a say too in a useful contest.
