Twice-raced maiden on Flat. First run since leaving Nigel Slevin and running creditably when fell in novice hurdle at Fontwell (19.2f, soft). Off 7 months. Hard to make a case for.

Once-raced winner. 1 win from 1 run this year. 14/1, won 9-runner maiden at Kempton (7f) on debut 44 days ago, cosily. Likely to improve. Has to be respected.
Once-raced maiden. Hooded, ninth of 11 in minor event at Newcastle (10.2f, 200/1) on debut 23 days ago.
Twice-raced maiden. 33/1, fourth of 11 in maiden at Newbury (8f, good) 35 days ago. May well do better, each-way contender with De Sousa in the saddle.
Once-raced maiden. Third of 4 in minor event (5/1) at Ripon (9.8f, good to firm) on debut 29 days ago, not knocked about. Should improve and makes plenty of appeal.
Promising sort. 15/2, fourth of 11 in minor event at Windsor (8.1f, good) on debut 20 days ago. Should progress.
Twice-raced maiden. 13/8, second of 14 in maiden at Newcastle (7.1f) 23 days ago, no match for winner. Good chance on form but has to prove himself on turf.

150,000 gns 2-y-o, Shamardal colt. Half-brother to winner up to 1¼m Lady Iffraaj. Dam useful 1¼m winner, half-sister to very smart winner up to 1½m Wigmore Hall. Trainer’s newcomers command respect.

Forecasts
Hiromichi (11/4), Ranchero (3/1), Watch My Six (4/1), Makashi (9/2), Kolisi (13/2), Storm Catcher (12/1), Cabrini (100/1), Van Meegeren (125/1), Harry Haafhd (150/1)
A really competitive novice event and plenty could take a big step forward. KOLISI makes most appeal though, having run well on debut at Ripon last month. He should improve and should have no problem with the likely underfoot conditions looking at his pedigree. Hiromichi has to be considered after taking a step forward at Newbury. Watch My Six is an interesting newcomer too.
