Smart sprint handicapper when on his game and didn't have much chance from a poor position at Chester on reappearance. Worth another chance to show what sort of form he's returned in.
Soft-ground winner at Haydock last year. Good second at Chester on penultimate outing and latest effort over C&D is easily excused (hampered), so he's one to have in mind.
Useful sprinter in France who has joined a top yard and been gelded since last seen 7 months ago. BHA have taken no chances with his mark but he's worth monitoring in the betting.
Latest win at Catterick from 1 lb lower mark in October and recorded easily his best effort of 2021 when second at Pontefract last month. Claims if he can back that up.
Prolific on the AW and showed he's every bit as good on turf when a staying-on second to Copper Knight over C&D 9 days ago. Likeable sort who should put up another bold bid.
Won twice for Paddy Twomey at 2 yrs, but struggled on both outings (first for Roger Varian) last season. More encouragement over C&D on reappearance 9 days ago and dropped 5 lb since.
Useful performer at 6f/7f in Germany last year and better effort for new connections when third at this track 10 days ago, faring best of those up with the pace. Drop back to 5f should pose no issue.
Likeable sprinter who gained some reward for his consistency when winning at Ascot in October 2019. Big effort when nose second there returning from long absence 15 days ago, so warrants respect.
Not the force of old but still has plenty of life in him, underlined by his gutsy C&D success at the expense of Mulzim last time. Remains on a fair mark after a 5-lb rise, so another bold show likely.
Tricky customer who has plenty of talent and arguably shaped best when third behind Copper Knight over C&D last time. Can make an impression again if things drop right.
Completed hat-trick in 9-runner handicap at Windsor in September but has failed to beat a rival in two outings since. Not easy to make a case for.
Chepstow winner for Ralph Becket but rather hit and miss subsequently and only tenth on debut for current yard on reappearance. Might strip fitter for that, though.

Pendleton (10/3), Copper Knight (5/1), Count D'Orsay (11/2), Mondammej (8/1), Zargun (11/1), Mulzim (11/1), Makanah (16/1), Dave Dexter (16/1), Justanotherbottle (16/1), Hurricane Ivor (16/1), Sunday Sovereign (20/1), Son And Sannie (20/1), Duke Of Firenze (33/1), Spoof (40/1)
COUNT D'ORSAY looked ready to strike at Chester on his penultimate outing and lost all chance when hampered mid-race at this track last time, so he could be worth taking a chance on in an open race. Copper Knight, Mulzim and Mondammej filled the first three positions respectively in the same race here 9 days ago, so they should all be under consideration again.
- COUNT D'ORSAY (IRE)
- MULZIM
- MONDAMMEJ
