Fair ex-French gelding who didn't look entirely straightforward when 5 lengths third of 7 in a Southwell novice (7f) on return/yard debut in April. Needs to step up on that to figure.
Landed an AW novice (5f) as a 2-y-o prior to a good second under a penalty at Windsor (5f) in October. Final start best overlooked and ran well when close fourth on Nottingham return. Claims.
Ended last term with success at Catterick (5f) and improved again this spring, runner-up at Ripon prior to dead-heating at Lingfield (5f, AW) 17 days ago. In excellent hands and player once more.
Off the mark in small-field fibresand novice (6f) in January and career-best display when just holding on at Nottingham (5f) in April. Further progress not ruled out for his powerful stable.
Low-mileage son of Mehmas who opened account at Windsor (5f) in October. Gelded and yet to scale same heights in pair of starts this spring but it does remain early days. Back down in trip.
Progressed race-by-race in minor/maiden company, off the mark at Chelmsford (5f) in January. Not seen to very best effect at Wolverhampton next time but gelded since and better showing not ruled out.
Consistent sort who has gained both victories on AW at Lingfield, latterly when dead-heating with Virginia Plane 17 days ago. Return to turf will hold no fears though and considered.
Had plenty of racing already but an improved model this year, landing back-to-back AW events and going in again at Thirsk (5f, soft) 2 weeks ago, battling well. This is tougher, though.
Scored over 5f at Chelmsford on his debut for David O'Meara but well below par both runs since, last of four there in February. Has something to prove after her lay-off.
Twice a winner from lower marks in turf nurseries during the autumn but been below best in pair of handicaps in recent weeks. Others arrive with more pressing claims.

Forecasts
Four Adaay (11/4), Virginia Plane (9/2), Faustus (5/1), Batraan (11/2), Hotalena (13/2), Rockett Man (12/1), Good Listener (14/1), Dream Composer (20/1), Holbache (25/1), Campachoochoo (80/1)
VIRGINIA PLANE has the style of racing ideal for this speed-favouring 5f trip and, having progressed well this term, may well prove tough to peg back on the front-end partnered by Tom Marquand. The selection dead-heated with re-opposing Four Adaay at Lingfield recently and she looks a big threat, as do Nottingham scorer Batraan, and Rockett Man, who may improve for being gelded.
- VIRGINIA PLANE
- FOUR ADAAY
- BATRAAN (IRE)
