Won a claimer for Mark Johnston in January and good start for new yard, winning 7f AW handicap the following month. Struggled subsequently though, and yet to score from a mark this high.

Dual winner as a 2-y-o who improved further to score at Beverley (7.4f) in September, despite idling. Heavy ground a possible excuse final start but he remains relatively low-mileage ahead of return.

Successful from 1 lb higher mark on July Course last summer and some good efforts in defeat thereafter. Mixed bag on AW since the turn of the year but certainly not out of things following a break.

Bounced back to form to win 7-runner handicap at Chelmsford City (7f) in April. Similar form when close-up fourth at Musselburgh (7f) 8 days later but mark is probably about right now.

C&D winner who arrives on the back of a pair of creditable efforts on AW, headed late on over this trip at Chelmsford last month. However, fact he's winless since 2019 is off-putting.

Southwell maiden winner (5f) who opened account in handicaps at Lingfield (7f, turf) last June. Not at best towards back end of the campaign and well held on return (albeit raced on unfavoured side).

Dual winner at up to 1m when trained by Clive Cox but yet to scale same heights in 2 starts for present stable this spring. On the flip side he's now operating from last winning mark.

Performed well on fibresand this year, successful in 7f handicap in February prior to a pair of solid placed efforts. Interesting if he can translate the improvement showed back on turf.

Enjoyed a productive 2020, adding second C&D handicap to the tally in October. Good fourth back here final start and not ruled out given course form on return to action.

Low-mileage sort who, dropped back in trip, got off the mark in good style at Kempton (6f) in March. Subsequently gelded and very much the type to do better again now handicapping.

Muhaarar filly who arrives on back of a good fourth of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7.2f) in April, running on late. Has form with give underfoot so she rates a live each-way player.

Forecasts

Biggles (5/2), Rodin (11/2), Tahitian Prince (6/1), Hunni (13/2), Legal Reform (15/2), Widaad (9/1), Masked Identity (9/1), Idoapologise (12/1), Molly Mai (16/1), Glenn Coco (20/1), Love Destiny (20/1), Pitchcombe (40/1), One Hart (66/1)

Verdict

TAHITIAN PRINCE has improved on the back of being gelded, successful in good style on return at Doncaster then not seen to best effect when third at Lingfield last time. He remains the type to do better from this sort of mark and can come out on top, possibly at the chief expense of Biggles and Idoapologise.

  3. IDOAPOLOGISE
