50,000 gns purchase who ran to a fair level amidst obvious signs of greenness when midfield in a Newbury maiden (7f) on debut in April, hanging badly left 2f out. Has potential to do better.
150,000 gns yearling, Galileo filly. Closely related to smart winner up to 7f Dick Whittington and half-sister to several winners, including smart 5f-7f winner Winning Ways. Interesting newcomer.
£26,000 yearling, The Gurkha filly. Very easy to back but showed definite signs of ability when keeping on well for third in a C&D maiden last month. Very much the type to improve.
Pride of Dubai filly. Half-sister to winner up to 7f Surfina and 5f winner Lucky Charm. Dam winner up to 6f (2-y-o 5f winner). Market should prove a useful guide ahead of debut. Has had a wind op.
Havana Gold filly who is stoutly bred and showed a bit whilst highlighting she may do better longer term/in handicaps when fifth in a 10-runner Salisbury novice (7f) recently.
Frankel filly. Dam twice-raced sister to very smart winner up to 10.5f Cutlass Bay. Makes appeal on paper for a yard more than capable of readying a newcomer, so well worth a check in the betting.
Karakontie filly who showed plenty when 2 lengths second of 11 in Yarmouth minor event (1m) in April, finding only a well-above-average type too strong. Big player with better to come.
6,000 gns yearling, Charming Thought filly. Closely related to winner up to 9f Nonna Tirina and half-sister to several winners, including 6f winner Rocksilla and 6f-7f winner Athassel.
Dark Angel filly who has finished nearer last than first in pair of maidens 7 months apart at up to 7f. In good hands though, so handicaps may be more her bag moving forward.

Forecasts
Sunrise Valley (4/7), Riknnah (9/4), Cambridgeshire (4/1), Danni California (11/2), Malathaat (10/1), Miss Calacatta (16/1), Appellation (18/1), Lunar Gold (18/1), White Lady (66/1), Drifting Sands (100/1), Sweet Expectation (125/1)
SUNRISE VALLEY and Riknnah both shaped up promisingly on their respective debuts recently and rate the pair to focus on. The former, who found only a well-above-average type too good at Yarmouth, is narrowly fancied to come out on top. Danni California and newcomer Cambridgeshire complete the shortlist.
