Smart handicapper who had a productive 2020, winning 5 times. Scope for better this term and respectable reappearance in listed event at Newmarket should have blown the cobwebs off.
Vastly progressive in 2020, again showing a cracking attitude when making it 5 wins on the spin at this course 7 months ago. Likely to get this longer trip, so he's an obvious player on return.
Lightly-raced 4-y-o who got back on the up when scoring cosily at Kempton on reappearance. Group performer in the making, so worth chancing to take this before moving up further in grade.
Useful middle-distance stayer who looked back in form when third in a listed event at Newmarket on just second outing for current stable. Vulnerable to less-exposed sorts.
Improving sort who posted career best when winning 16-runner handicap at Doncaster on reappearance. Creditable second at Thirsk since and another solid showing is expected.
Scored at York and Newbury last term and signed off with good second of 23 in November Handicap at Doncaster (1m4f). Likely to strip fitter for his return at Chelmsford, so can't be dismissed.
Lightly raced and still seemed to be going the right way in the first half of last season. Disappointing at Wolverhampton when last seen but 5-month break might have freshened him up.
Promising type who, although runner-up on both outings this term (including to My Frankel at Kempton latest), may well have a bigger effort in him. Well-run race should play to his strengths.
Scored twice for this yard last term and final outing was easily excusable. Could find further progress this term but this is a big ask returning from 7 months off.
Seemingly hard to train since 2019 and, although not disgraced in form terms at Musselburgh last time, his finishing effort was rather weak. Others are more appealing.
Won novice/handicap over this trip on turf last summer and also good third at Ascot in September. Respectable third on Wolverhampton reappearance 18 days ago. May come on for the run, so considered.
Useful handicapper who broke more efficiently when scoring at Windsor in first-time tongue tie on reappearance. Can remain competitive provided he continues to avoid the slow starts.
Scored three times at Ayr last year, but also shaped well at this track and recent narrow second (of 3) suggests he's returned as good as ever this term.
Useful at best but not seen for 21 months following an underwhelming spell for Jason Ward. Plenty to prove.
Scored on both visits to this course last year and should strip fitter for his creditable return at Newcastle. Sill not fully exposed, so there could be more to come.

Ilaraab (7/2), Sam Cooke (6/1), My Frankel (6/1), Taqareer (6/1), Throne Hall (7/1), Shandoz (7/1), Strait Of Hormuz (12/1), Rhythmic Intent (12/1), Mr Carpenter (14/1), Win O'Clock (20/1), Labeebb (22/1), Luigi Vampa (25/1), Raymond Tusk (40/1), Dubai Souq (50/1), Glasses Up (80/1), Maifalki (200/1)
MY FRANKEL may well prove better than a handicapper so, despite a 7 lb rise for his cosy defeat of Taqareer at Kempton last time, he's fancied to go in again at the likely expense of Ilaraab, who was ultra-progressive last year. Throne Hall is another one to consider.
