Estad¹¹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-1| J: D Tudhope| T: D O'Meara

18/1

Bred to be smart. 7/1, held back by inexperience and shaped a lot better than the result when 11 lengths fourth on 7f Catterick debut 11 days ago. Has the potential for significant improvement.

Form: 4

(2)

Fantastic Fox¹⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-1| J: E J Walsh| T: R Varian

1/5

Half-brother to high-class Dream of Dreams. Plenty of promise when third in 1m maidens 5 months apart, posting a useful effort at Newbury latterly. Sets high standard for a race like this.

Form: 3-3

(1)

Noble Crusade

Age: 3| Weight: 9-1| J: Callum Rodriguez| T: K Dalgleish

20/1

$60,000 Noble Mission colt. Brother to 1m winner Joyful Mission and 7f winner Vivency. Will need to be useful to take this on debut but worth a market check all the same.

Poet's King²⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 9-1| J: K Stott| T: K A Ryan

11/2

Stepped up a little on last year's debut fourth when 4 lengths second of 11 in novice at Redcar (1m, good to firm) 27 days ago. Should have more to offer.

Form: 4-2

Forecasts

Fantastic Fox (1/5), Poet's King (11/2), Estad (18/1), Noble Crusade (20/1), Alben Force (50/1)

FANTASTIC FOX ran to a level which would be more than good enough to win the vast majority of maidens here when third at Newbury last month and can't be opposed. Estad showed a good deal of promise on his Catterick debut and can fill the forecast spot ahead of Poet's King.
