Won 1m Meydan handicap early last year and held form really well in top 7f/1m handicaps back on these shores last summer. Good record here and everything points to a big run on return.

Useful in France and took advantage of good opportunity to open account in thin 7f Wolverhampton event for new yard in February. Never a threat in stronger Newcastle handicap next time but down 4 lb.
Not as good as he was, though his mark reflects that and he drops in grade after last month's reappearance. Has some decent C&D form to his name and interesting contender.
Had another fine campaign in 2020, winning 1m handicaps at Newbury and Newmarket early doors. Should have come on for recent return at former track and is back down in grade here.
Held his form really well in 2020, making all in 1m handicaps at Haydock and Kempton. Good third in the Spring Mile at Doncaster on return having fluffed the start and hard to discount.
Tricky customer on a long losing run, looking a particularly hard ride at Lingfield last time. Never really fired at Ascot previously and having a rare go over 1m. Others preferred.
In good form as 2020 ended, taking 1m Kempton handicap. Revised mark not beyond him and won 0-85 C&D apprentice handicap at this meeting on return in 2019. Not dismissed under in-form rider.
Won the Cambridgeshire for amateurs at Newmarket (9f) in September, coming clear from off strong pace. Not so good under penalty in the main race there final start but has gone well fresh.
Did well on AW in 2020, winning 3 7f/1m handicaps. Form patchy this year and work to do back on turf despite lower mark.

Forecasts
Mostawaa (11/4), Cliffs Of Capri (10/3), Gin Palace (11/2), Balgair (13/2), Enigmatic (7/1), Keyser Soze (12/1), Repertoire (14/1), Papa Stour (14/1), Zwayyan (25/1)
CLIFFS OF CAPRI has a fine record over 7f at Ascot and is just as effective over this longer trip. He held his own in some top handicaps last summer and returns with his sights lowered slightly for an in-form trainer/rider. A big run is surely on the cards if he's ready to roll. Zwayyan is another who has excelled here in the past and could go well. Enigmatic is another to consider.
