16/1, overcame inexperience to make winning debut in 14-runner minor event at Kempton (7f) 46 days ago. Sure to progress, and well worth considering despite saddling 5 lb penalty.
25,000 gns foal, Starspangledbanner gelding. Dam, of little account, closely related to smart 9f-10.3f winner South Easter. Yard going really well so newcomer commands plenty of respect.
Last of 9 in maiden (33/1) at Newbury (8f, good) on debut 7 days ago. Big step forward is required.
Shamardal colt. Brother to smart winner up to 1m Hawkesbury and half-brother to two more winners. Makes plenty of appeal on paper. Market will prove good indicator, but he must enter reckoning.
Fair form when fourth in 7f novices at Doncaster and Lingfield this spring. May do better still. Well in the mix.
100/1, built on debut when second of 11 in maiden at Bath (5.7f, good) 19 days ago, staying on late. Likely to do better still back up in trip. Shortlisted.
£34,000 yearling, Mehmas colt. Dam, ran once in France, half-sister to smart 7f winner Donnerschlag. Appeals on paper and in very good hands. Interesting newcomer.
Hot Streak filly. Half-sister to useful 7f winner Blizzard. Dam fairly useful 6f/7f winner. Lots to like on pedigree. Well worth a market check on her first run.
Pulled up in minor event (200/1) at Lingfield (8f, AW) on debut, very slowly away. Off 151 days with work to do.
Cable Bay filly. Half-sister to 5f winner Optionality and 1m winner Roof Garden. Dam 6f winner. Other newcomers make more appeal on paper.

Forecasts
George Morland (15/8), Great News (5/2), Lafan (5/1), Top Of The Shop (13/2), Bluebird Day (12/1), Bannerman (14/1), Major Force (25/1), Bearwith (50/1), Lucia Changretta (50/1), Brazen Jesse (250/1)
GEORGE MORLAND made a very pleasing start when landing a 7f Kempton maiden and, with a fair bit more improvement in the pipeline, Henry Candy's son of Camacho is fancied to defy his penalty. There are a few interesting newcomers lurking though, not least Clive Cox's Mehmas colt Top of The Shop and Ralph Beckett's Hot Streak filly Bluebird Day, so the market could prove highly informative.
