Once-raced colt. 8/1, sixth of 8 in maiden at this course (5f, soft) on debut 27 days ago, making late headway. Entitled to be sharper for that but others make more appeal.

Verdict

GAIRE OS ARD showed plenty to work on when runner-up behind an Aidan O'Brien newcomer on debut at Naas (5f) 3 weeks ago and she's fancied to build on that effort now and go one place better. Glounthaune is an interesting newcomer for the powerful O'Brien stable and commands respect, along with promising Cork second Castle Star and newcomer Albion Square.
