Useful performer who posted a good fourth in Golden Mile Handicap at Goodwood (1m) in July. Failed to build on that promise at Ascot next time and has since left Roger Varian. First try at 6f.
Looked as good as ever when winning the Portland Handicap at Doncaster (5.6f) in September. Not in same form in Ayr Gold Cup a week later, though possibly found that coming too soon.
Much improved this year, getting back on the up after a short break when winning 9-runner handicap at Lingfield (7f, AW) last month. Likely to progress further.
Won over C&D as a 3-y-o and added to her tally when taking 6f Ascot handicap in good style in August. Not seen to best effect in smaller fields last 2 starts but this could suit better.
Has already scored three times at Lingfield in 2021, latest in March. Couldn't complete the hat-trick there last time, but again ran well and should continue in form now back on turf.
C&D who was below par last season but has eased in the weights as a result and may have benefited from a break/wind operation.
Novice winner who got back on track switched to a handicap when third to Stone Circle at Ascot (6f) in October. Seemed unsuited by conditions when well held at Newbury later that month.
Caused a bit of a surprise when regaining the winning thread at Ascot (6f) in October, just holding on after quickening to lead over 1f out. Reappears from a 6 lb higher mark.
Has been given a chance by the handicapper and turned in his best effort of the season when fourth in 7-runner contest at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 25 days ago, despite being left poorly placed.
Built on recent Newcastle promise to end a losing run stretching back over 2 years at Doncaster (6f) 17 days ago. Retains handicapping scope, so should be competitive if turning up in similar form.
Well treated on best form and shaped with some encouragement when 3½ lengths sixth of 15 to Gunmetal at Doncaster on return.

Forecasts
Going Places (4/1), Gunmetal (5/1), Dazzling Dan (5/1), Chil Chil (7/1), Additional (7/1), Count Otto (9/1), George Bowen (16/1), Stone Circle (16/1), Stone Of Destiny (18/1), Willie John (20/1), Concierge (25/1)
GOING PLACES has a progressive profile and, with few miles on the clock, there could still be more to come, so he's taken to defy a 6 lb rise for Lingfield and go in again. Chil Chil wasn't seen to best effect in small fields on her last 2 starts, but this type of scenario should see her in a better light, while recent Doncaster-scorer Gunmetal retains plenty of handicapping scope on old form.
