11/10

Dubawi gelding who took his form up a notch when easily making it 2-2 in 1m2f Lingfield novice in January. Very much the sort to go on improving, and he holds good claims on handicap/turf debut.

Bowland Park¹⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 8-12| J: Adam J McNamara| T: D & C Kubler| OR: 82

12/1

Fair 7f juvenile winner who wasn't disgraced after 8 months off when (22/1) fourth of 5 in 1m3f handicap at Kempton 18 days ago. Should strip fitter for that run too so he's no forlorn hope.

Form: 817-4

Annandale¹²⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 8-8| J: B A Curtis| T: C & M Johnston| OR: 78| D

11/4

Progressed well in his three runs as a 2-y-o and signed off with 1m nursery win at Newmarket in November. Had the run of the race there but this return to 1m2f will suit and he's much respected.

Form: 311-

Fairmac¹⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 8-6| J: F Norton| T: C & M Johnston| OR: 76

11/2

Fair 7f juvenile winner who wasn't discredited after 4 months off when fading fourth in 1m2f Lingfield handicap 14 days ago. Not discounted with that run under his belt.

Form: 62174-4

Bodroy^p¹⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 8-5| J: S De Sousa| T: J Butler| OR: 75

8/1

Has been kept busy in 2021 and landed back-to-back Wolverhampton handicaps for new yard. Raced too freely in first-time cheekpieces when only fifth of 6 at Lingfield fortnight ago. More needed now.

Forecasts

Tamborrada (11/10), Annandale (11/4), Fairmac (11/2), Bodroy (8/1), Bowland Park (12/1)

TAMBORRADA has his first run on turf but looked a very useful prospect in gaining back-to-back wins at Lingfield this winter so is hard to oppose on his first venture into handicap company. Mark Johnston saddles two and both are much respected with Newmarket-scorer Annandale fancied to chase home Charlie Appleby's well-related Dubawi gelding, ahead of his stable-companion Fairmac.
