Hurdles debut at Fontwell in November was encouraging enough, but she hasn't gone on from that in the way one would have hoped, failing to make an impact switched to handicaps the last twice.
Fair Doncaster bumper winner who turned in his best effort this season when third in Kempton jumpers bumper last month. However, poor display back in this sphere since and she's readily passed over.
Point winner who stepped up plenty on her reappearance run when third at Leicester in November. Completely bombed out at Huntingdon a month later, though, and absent since. Has undergone a wind op.
Lightly-raced mare who again ran below the pick of her form in maiden company when second in a seller here in December. No show on debut for new yard/handicap bow at Southwell since.
First worthwhile form when fourth in small-field C&D novice in November, but subsequent efforts have left much to be desired.
Has a good pedigree and it wouldn't be the biggest surprise were she to step up on her low-key novice exploits now making the switch to handicap company. One to note in the betting.
Point winner who remains a maiden following 12 runs over hurdles. However, latest fourth in 20.4f Southwell handicap was respectable and claims if first-time cheekpieces have the desired effect.
Won twice between the flags, but efforts under Rules have been modest at best. Still, she shaped as though going back up in trip would suit when third at Exeter (17f) recently and is now 2 lb lower.
Point/bumper winner who left previous hurdles form behind when making a winning return/handicap bow over 3m here. Subsequent C&D third was respectable and she needs considering. Tongue strap applied.
Not badly bred and in good hands, but efforts in maiden/novice company were low-key and improvement wasn't forthcoming on Exeter handicap debut a fortnight ago.
Modest maiden hurdler who failed to come on for her reappearance when pulled up here in December. However, better effort at Wincanton (15.3f, soft) last time and she's not without a chance.
Well held in bumper/3 starts over hurdles and yard saddles a more appealing candidate in Deputy Jones.
Little show in bumpers/over hurdles so far and big step forward needed on this handicap debut.

Forecasts
Deputy Jones (11/4), Marilyn Monroe (7/2), Bellevarde Express (11/2), Spirit Of Rome (13/2), Doyannie (15/2), Shoot To Fame (15/2), Poet's Reflection (9/1), Lady Sally (10/1), Miss Gold Den (14/1), Dynamic Kate (50/1), Keepscalling (50/1), Mosambo (66/1), Little Peachey (80/1), Tranquil Dawn (150/1)
In the hope that the addition of cheekpieces helps eke out a little more, DEPUTY JONES gets the nod in what looks a wide-open contest. Her latest effort (first run following a wind op) represented an incremental step in the right direction and she's now 2 lb lower. Marilyn Monroe has improved since going down the handicap route and is second choice ahead of Spirit of Rome and Shoot To Fame.
