Well held in bumper/novice hurdles so hard to see him featuring here.

Maiden pointer who offered something to work on sent hurdling when fifth of 19 in novice hurdle at Navan (20f, heavy) 7 weeks ago. Has since left John Joseph Hanlon and he could be in the mix.

£5,500 4-y-o, Kotky Bleu gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler/high-class chaser Notre Pere and Bon Pasteur. Little impact in 2 Irish points in early 2019 and same story in 3 bumpers.

Flattered but showed ability when third of 9 in novice at Exeter (18.5f, heavy) on hurdles bow 32 days ago, plugging on late. Should have learnt plenty from that and holds each-way claims.

£13,000 5-y-o, Yeats gelding. Closely related to fairly useful hurdler Trevelyn's Corn. Dam (h75) bumper winner. Well held on his hurdling debut last month and looks one for the longer term.

Ex-Irish maiden hurdler. Little impact on both starts after leaving Shane Crawley when last seen 14 months ago. Tongue tie goes on and worth a market check for in-form yard.

Promise in maiden/novice hurdles, including when third of 11 in novice hurdle (7/1) at Carlisle last month. Fair winning bumper too so worth considering on his qualifying run.

Just minor promise in bumper and showed a bit more than on hurdling debut when a well-beaten second in novice at Sedgefield (19.8f, soft, 50/1) 11 days ago. More needed.

Forecasts

Taste The Fear (7/4), One Fer Mamma (5/2), Camp Belan (10/3), Tara Mill (5/1), One Fine Man (6/1), Son Of The Somme (16/1), You Some Boy (18/1), Amma Lord (125/1), St Basil (150/1), Eveque (300/1)

Verdict

ONE FINE MAN shaped as if needing the run on reappearance/yard debut after a 13-month absence at Catterick last month, not always fluent and fading into fourth late on. He's taken to gain his first victory with that under his belt. Camp Belan offered something to work on hurdling debut and he's feared most having switched to Lucinda Russell, ahead of Tara Mill and Taste The Fear.

  1. ONE FINE MAN (IRE)
  2. CAMP BELAN (IRE)
  3. TARA MILL (IRE)
