MR EXCELLENCY defied greenness to make a winning start over 7f here in October and is sure to progress. He's preferred to Ron O, who left his debut well behind when runner-up at Redcar in the autumn. Fairly-useful hurdler Floating Rock wasn't seen to anything like best effect on his Flat debut at Newcastle and can leave that effort well behind in due course.
