Phoenix Reach gelding. Half-brother to yard's fairly useful hurdler/chaser Bollin Ace. Stable 0-28 in bumpers in last 5 seasons so could only consider if backed.

22/1, shaped as if in need of experience when fourth of 9 in bumper at Doncaster (13f, soft) on debut 66 days ago. Up in trip. May do better.

Kutub gelding. Dam (c92/h110) 2m/17f hurdle winner, also 1m-1¼m winner on Flat. Yard does pop up with odd bumper winner, including one here this season.

Shirocco gelding. Brother to a winner on Flat and half-brother to useful hurdler Nordic Combined. Dam 1½m-1¾m winner. Some paper appeal and would enter reckoning if betting vibes strong.

OKAVANGO DELTA went agonisingly close over C&D last time and is taken to go one better at the expense of Sedgefield-third Northern Falcon. Brian Ellison has had a few bumper winners here in recent weeks and his well-bred newcomer Punxsutawney Phil would also enter the reckoning if the betting suggests he's fancied.
