Diamond Gait^t¹³

Age: 8| Weight: 9-0| J: L Morris| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls

8/1

Fairly useful jumper who offered something to work on when fourth in a 12f Kempton novice earlier this month, doing well to finish fourth given she was held up off the steady gallop. Likely improver.

Form: 4

Sweet Vinetta^b¹¹

Age: 7| Weight: 9-0| J: G Lee| T: G Boanas

100/1

Fair hurdler who didn't offer a great deal starting out on the level in a 1m Newcastle novice in December. Respectable fifth in a Jumpers' bumper since but others make greater appeal here.

Forecasts

Alpha Theta (8/15), Longsider (2/1), Talkischeap (9/2), Diamond Gait (8/1), Deluxe Music (10/1), Soros (11/1), Lunar Bounty (18/1), Toscan Genius (28/1), Yaazaain (33/1), Opportunist (66/1), Sweet Vinetta (100/1)

ALPHA THETA got her career off to the perfect start when landing a C&D maiden in December, beating little in the end but getting the job done impressively nevertheless. She's entitled to improve for her powerful stable and gets the nod to make it 2-2. Diamond Gait is also worth a look, whilst Talkischeap requires close market scrutiny on Flat debut.
