11/2, fourth of 5 in handicap at Southwell (7.1f) 3 days ago, possibly finding the trip stretching him. Return to 6f a plus on that evidence but wide draw to deal with here.

Winner of a 7f nursery here in December. However, unable to back that up when sixth of 10 in handicap (14/1) at this course (7f) 7 days ago. However, she remains relatively low-mileage at this level.

Thrice-raced maiden. Ninth of 10 in nursery at Wolverhampton (5.1f, 7/1) 17 days ago. Not yet built on debut effort but has often been well supported and not one to write off equipped with blinkers.

Best effort to date when runner-up in a Leicester seller (6f) in September. Not seen to best effect on 2 of his 4 starts for new yard but does need to shrug off a lesser effort at Wolverhampton latest

Thrice-raced maiden. 100/1, eleventh of 12 in minor event at Yarmouth (6f, heavy) 85 days ago. Does at least now get a crack at handicaps from a lowly mark and worth a check in the betting for clues.

Lightly-raced maiden. 22/1, last of 9 in minor event at Lingfield (7f, AW) 76 days ago. Drop in trip now handicapping a definite plus and she's the type to improve. Cheekpieces refitted.

14/1, good fourth of 10 in nursery at Lingfield (6f, AW) 23 days ago. Had plenty of chances already but no reason why she can't get in the mix with a repeat here.

Yet to better poor form but not seen to best effect when 3 lengths seventh of 11 at Wolverhampton in December. Similar story at Lingfield 8 days ago and not one to dismiss at this level.

Forecasts

The Good Ting (9/2), Silver Nemo (9/2), The Pretty Way (6/1), Teddy B (6/1), Iesha (7/1), Mid Day Rush (7/1), Puffin Island (11/1), You've Charmed Me (12/1), Woo Woo (14/1), Costa Teguise (16/1), Little Gem (40/1), Araucana (80/1)

Verdict

A very trappy opener with a chance taken on handicap-debutante WOO WOO. She offered glimmers of promise with a view to stepping back to this sort of trip in the autumn and, refitted with cheekpieces, may well be up to making more of an impact now her sights are set on handicaps. You've Charmed Me may benefit from the application of blinkers and is feared, along with Iesha and The Good Ting.
