2019 Northumberland Plate winner who also landed Queen Alexandra at Royal Ascot in June. However, he was pulled up back hurdling in November and was laboured when below-par sixth on AW Flat since.
Career best when leading late on in C&D handicap 7 weeks ago. Only raised 2 lb and he's unexposed around 2m. Big player.
Sprung a 50/1 surprise at Haydock in September. Has a good record on Newcastle's tapeta but he wasn't close to his best in 2m conditions event there latest. Acts on polytrack.
Progressed into a smart handicapper for Simon Crisford in 2019 but has been off since August of that year ahead of this return for a new trainer. This also his first run on AW. Betting should guide.
Gained a seventh career success when seeing off 5 rivals in 2m Newcastle handicap 16 days ago. Only nudged up 2 lb so likely to remain competitive.
Solid polytrack record, including a C&D win. Returned to AW to finish creditable 1½ lengths fourth of 9 to Rock Eagle over C&D 49 days ago, needing stiffer test. Cheekpieces on first time. Respected.
Useful on the Flat in Ireland for Aidan O'Brien. Nowhere near that level over hurdles for this stable and remains to be seen if a return to the Flat improves matters. AW debut.
Novice/handicap winner on tapeta this autumn. Unlucky not to finish closer when 2 lengths third of 7 in C&D handicap 4 weeks ago, staying on well after short of room. Going the right way.

Forecasts
Rock Eagle (5/4), Amtiyaz (15/8), True Destiny (7/1), Outbox (10/1), Lucky Deal (16/1), Who Dares Wins (20/1), Stargazer (40/1), Kangaroo Valley (150/1)
A useful staying event. AMTIYAZ is still on the upgrade based on his unlucky third over C&D and is taken to resume winning ways. Rock Eagle, a C&D winner last time, is another heading in the right direction and looks next best ahead of Roger Charlton's True Destiny.
- AMTIYAZ
- ROCK EAGLE
- TRUE DESTINY
