Disappointed in handful of Flat starts for Roger Charlton. Little to shout about in pair of hurdle runs and only market support would make him of interest here.
Course winner. 8/1, good third of 14 in handicap at this C&D (AW) 17 days ago, challenging 2f out and keeping on. Has fallen to a handy mark and one to consider.
Lightly-raced maiden. 7/1, respectable fourth of 13 in handicap over C&D in February, no extra last ½f. Has since switched yards and she's respected on return from what rates a handy-looking mark.
Course winner. 8/1, creditable fourth of 14 in handicap at this C&D (AW) 17 days ago, short of room over 2f out but keeping on. Holds each-way claims in this line up.
Temperamental sort. Eighth of 16 in novice hurdle at Ludlow (15.8f, good to soft, 80/1) on NH debut 26 days ago. Likely to find a couple too good returned to the Flat.
3 wins from 15 runs this year. Latest win at Windsor in August. 8/1, creditable third of 10 in handicap at Chelmsford City (10f) 9 days ago, nearest finish. Can give another good account.
Lightly-raced maiden. First run since leaving Ben Haslam when tenth of 14 in handicap over C&D 17 days ago, short of room 2f out and not unduly punished. This should reveal more and he's unexposed.
Cheekpieces on for 1st time, last of 7 in claimer (250/1) at Redcar (10f, heavy) 46 days ago. Easy enough to look elsewhere.

Abel Tasman (2/1), Three Dragons (11/4), Janus (10/3), Famous Dynasty (13/2), Thunderoad (10/1), Constraint (10/1), Its Nice Tobe Nice (16/1), Tinsmith (50/1), Majestyk Fire (150/1)
ITS NICE TOBE NICE caught the eye when fourth in a C&D event when last seen in February, the manner in which she went through the race suggesting this sort of mark is within reach. She's switched yards since and could be worth chancing to get off the mark with Tom Marquand booked. Abel Tasman ran well latest and looks sure to go well, ahead of Janus and Three Dragons.
