Fairly useful 12f winner on Flat for Michael Dods. Promise initially over hurdles earlier this year but he arrives here having taken a backward step at Carlisle (17f) in October. Handicap debut.
Won pair of 2m novice handicap chases for Kerry Lee in 2018. Limited impact upon joining new yard, pulled up in blinkers in 21f Warwick handicap hurdle in September. Break may have perked him up.
Off the mark in a C&D maiden on penultimate start but he failed to match that level under a penalty in a Musselburgh novice (15.5f) last month. Switch to handicaps entitled to suit.
Veteran who hasn't been disgraced either start over hurdles/fences so far this season, third in a 17f event here 4 weeks ago. Handicapper has given him a chance back over timber.
Point winner who shaped with some promise in novice/maiden hurdles at Hexham in October. Latest effort was underwhelming but another who should benefit from the switch to handicaps.
Lightly-raced winner over hurdles who wasn't disgraced when sixth of 8 in a Hexham handicap (2m) last month. Not ruled out in an open-looking affair.
Bumper/mares' novice hurdle winner who wasn't disgraced in a handful of handicaps last season without truly seeing her races out. Tongue tie left off on return and the market should prove useful.
Scored over fences at Southwell on his reappearance but below that form in all 5 starts since, the latest when merely plugging on in to sixth at Musselburgh (19.8f) in November.
Ran best race to date in handicaps when fourth of 8 in a C&D handicap on return in October but easy to back and failed to make an impact back here 3 weeks later. Has fallen further in weights at least

Forecasts
Saint Arvans (9/2), Paper Promise (5/1), Vengeur De Guye (5/1), Tree Of Liberty (5/1), Lord Condi (7/1), Archi's Affaire (8/1), Coup De Gold (10/1), Pass Rusher (12/1), Getaway Gerry (16/1)
This looks decidedly trappy and it may pay to side with COUP DE GOLD. He arrives on the back of a respectable effort at Hexham and the handicapper has relinquished his grip a little more. Veteran Vengeur de Guye is next best, whilst Tree of Liberty and Archi's Affaire are also worth a look.
- COUP DE GOLD (IRE)
- VENGEUR DE GUYE (FR)
- TREE OF LIBERTY (IRE)
