Useful novice hurdler who had wind op before readily landing odds in 6-runner novice chase at Huntingdon (19.9f, good to soft) on fencing debut 31 days ago. Sure to build on that and the one to beat.

Useful winning hurdler who (12/1) shaped encouraging on his chasing bow when second of 5 in novice at Cheltenham (24.4f, heavy) 17 days ago. Sure to progress so well in the mix.
|
Useful staying novice hurdler. Failed to build on promising Perth debut third over fences when only eighth in Newbury handicap 27 days ago. Needs to bounce back.
|
Fairly useful ex-French hurdler/chaser who went the wrong way from his belated return/yard debut when last of 3 in a Huntingdon maiden (23.6f) nine months ago. Lots to prove on comeback.

Forecasts
Espoir De Romay (6/5), Redford Road (5/2), Doc Penfro (16/5), Royale Pagaille (11/1)
ESPOIR DE ROMAY made a fine winning start over fences at Huntingdon and appeals as the sort to hold his own in better company in due course so is impossible to oppose despite conceding weight all round. Cheltenham runner-up Doc Penfro is another with better days ahead of him so looks the one to chase home Kim Bailey's improver, with Redford Road preferred over the returning Royale Pagaille.
