7/2

First past the post in a maiden point last year and (33/1) encouraging debut sixth over hurdles for new yard in 20f Wetherby novice 49 days ago. Capable of better over this longer trip.

Useful maiden hurdler but below-par favourite after 8 months off when fourth of 7 in novice at Aintree (20f) on return. Form pick and worth another chance.

Forecasts

Torn And Frayed (5/4), Buzz De Turcoing (5/2), South Terrace (7/2), Roman Rock (8/1), Salopian Boy (20/1), Trap For Fools (80/1)

TORN AND FRAYED wasn't at his best after an absence when fourth on his Aintree return but posted some useful efforts in defeat last term so is taken to bounce back here with this longer trip expected to suit. Buzz de Turcoing is another who will benefit from a return to further so is feared most, although Roman Rock is hugely respected on his first run for Dr Richard Newland.
