RIVER WHARFE hasn't quite lived up to his pedigree as yet but his two efforts in nurseries have contained encouragement and there's a chance first-time cheekpieces brings more out of him, so he's a tentative choice to come out on top in a trappy nursery. Fircombe Hall ranks as the main danger after a good second at Newcastle and The Chain can't be dismissed down in grade.
