Fairly useful at best. Patchy record under Rules in 2018/19 but did win twice in pointing field in 2020. May have needed reappearance run in that sphere last month. Betting should guide.
Maiden hurdle winner for Ben Pauling in summer 2018. Encouraging return from absence for new yard when second of 12 in 23f Market Rasen handicap 19 days ago. Big player if able to build on that.
Last seen under Rules winning a 27.5f Stratford handicap chase for Neil King in June 2019. Has failed to win in 4 runs in pointing field since. Watching brief advised back hurdling.
Back to form to land only second victory in handicap at Huntingdon in September. Shaped as if amiss there next time and he was rather laboured when third in seller latest. Visor replaces cheekpieces.
Course handicap winner on reappearance and shrugged of a couple of lesser efforts when resuming winning ways at Fakenham (23f) last month. Needs to show he can string good runs together now.
Fair form for Liz Doyle in 2018/19 and runner-up twice in British points last winter. Only seventh on his completed start in novice hurdles for new yard this year but may fare better in handicaps.
Course novice hurdle winner in November 2017 but things didn't go to plan under Rules subsequently and his point record in the last 12 months has been a little mixed. Hard to know what to expect.
Placed twice over hurdles this summer (handicap first occasion) and has posted respectable efforts on AW Flat in recent months.
Now 3 lb lower than when scoring at Taunton (19f) a year ago and there were more positive signs from her when keeping on for fifth from too far back at Market Rasen latest. Player if stamina holds.
3m chase winner in August. Not seen to best effect when held up off a steady pace back hurdling since and that run shouldn't be taken to suggest he can't do some damage from lower hurdle mark.
Unconvincing record in point. Modest form in novice hurdles this autumn, including when 14 lengths second at Sedgefield (21f) latest, but handicaps should provide her with more realistic chance.

Forecasts
Skylanna Breeze (11/4), Ballydun Oscar (5/1), Marten (11/2), Compadre (8/1), Perfect Pirate (9/1), Crystal Lad (9/1), Mabela (10/1), Londonia (10/1), Liar's Dice (18/1), Alright Marlene (22/1), Mercers Court (100/1)
COMPADRE wasn't seen to best effect at Fontwell last time so might be worth another chance from his lower hurdle mark. Ballydun Oscar will be a big danger if able to build on an encouraging comeback run at Market Rasen at the beginning of this month, while Mabela has shaped as if coming to hand on her last 2 starts and should have a say if seeing out the longer trip.
