Decisive enough winner at Perth in July but the handicapper has looked in charge since. Vey hard to recommend, even dropped into selling company.
Bounced back to form to land only his second victory in handicap at Huntingdon in September. Shaped as if amiss when folding tamely there a fortnight later and hard to predict what mood he will be in.
Successful in this sphere and over fences during 2018/19 campaign. Failed to complete in Carlisle handicap chase back from a 19-month absence but shaped better when third back over timber last time.
Belied odds of 66/1 when making a winning debut for Brendan Powell in Fontwell maiden hurdle (19.2f) in January 2019. Well held in cheekpieces on first outing for new yard on return. Hard to assess.
Patchy form since landing a maiden hurdle for Ben Pauling last year but ran respectably upped markedly in trip at this course (23.9f, good, 25/1) 15 days ago.
Scored over fences last summer but it's been a struggle since, failing to complete on his last 2 starts. Blinkers go on for the first time but hard to fancy even in this company.
Little impact in 6 runs over hurdles, including in handicaps this term, and probably needed the run when pulled up after 9 months off on his chasing bow at Plumpton 10 days ago.
Winner of 3m chase at Southwell in July and ran respectably back over hurdles when fifth of 12 in handicap at this course (23.9f, good, 10/1) 15 days ago. Others preferred, however.
Not seen over hurdles since scoring at Fakenham back in November 2018. Confirmed promise of reappearance to finally get off the mark on the Flat at Wolverhampton in September and he's respected here.
Successful at second attempt over fences at Bangor last year, but more miss than hit since. Switches back over hurdles here and looks the one to beat on these terms.
Maiden who looks to have lost her way and was well held after 11 weeks off at Exeter (18.5f, good, 100/1) 23 days ago. Cheekpieces on for 1st time.
Showed a bit more on recent handicap debut at Hereford (19.7f, good), but fared no better than that up in trip at this course (23.9f, good) 15 days ago. Easy to look elsewhere.

Forecasts
Mr Caffrey (11/8), Mizen Master (5/2), Crystal Lad (5/1), Larch Hill (15/2), My Destiny (18/1), Glengar (22/1), Mystic Court (22/1), The Lion Queen (25/1), Harbour Force (66/1), Clonmonarch (80/1), Bagan (100/1), Berboru (200/1)
MR CAFFREY has been performing creditably in handicap chases since the resumption and looks to be the one to side with on these terms for Dr Richard Newland. Mizen Master rates as the obvious danger on his first start in this sphere for nearly 2 years, while Larch Hill and Crystal Lad can battle out the minor honours.
