Won 14-runner handicap (15/2) at this C&D 28 days ago. 2 lb rise fair enough and he has to enter calculations.
Latest win at Wolverhampton in August. Tenth of 13 in handicap there (9.5f, 4/1) 24 days ago, having hopeless task from position. Blinkers on 1st time and may well bounce back.
8/1, eleventh of 13 in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 24 days ago, left poorly placed. Would be a threat if first-time blinkers were to have a positive effect.
Respectable fourth of 9 in handicap (4/1) at Ayr (10f, good) 24 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time and he's certainly not without each-way hope.
Twice-raced maiden. Second of 13 in minor event at this C&D (11/8) 21 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time for this handicap debut and she's open to improvement.
Lightly-raced maiden. First run since leaving K. R. Burke when very good third of 8 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f, 9/1) 10 days ago, running on. More needed.
Course winner. 3 wins from 9 runs this year. 40/1, eleventh of 13 in handicap at Pontefract (8f, heavy) 18 days ago. Others make greater appeal.
C&D winner. Latest win at Pontefract in October. Good second of 12 in handicap at Ayr (8f, heavy, 3/1) 15 days ago, keeping on well. Should be on the premises.
C&D winner. Ninth of 13 in handicap (18/1) at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 24 days ago, racing closer to pace than ideal. Cheekpieces on 1st time and needs to bounce back.
14/1, very good fifth of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 10 days ago. No more than an each-way squeak.

Forecasts
La Rav (5/2), Abbotside (5/1), Iris Bud (5/1), Perfect Swiss (11/2), Daniel Deronda (13/2), Bavardages (12/1), The Throstles (14/1), Double Martini (16/1), Itwouldberudenotto (33/1), Red Jasper (66/1)
It would be no surprise to see BAVARDAGES resume winning ways, assuming he responds positively to the first-time blinkers. Mark Johnston's charge is just 2 lb higher than for his success in a higher grade handicap in August and there have been excuses for his subsequent reverses. Perfect Swiss is 2-4 on the all-weather and he needs considering, while La Rav and Iris Bud also merit respect.
