Arrives in good form, second of 9 in 6f handicap at Kempton 9 days ago when making effort earlier than ideal and caught post. Can race off 2 lb lower here so sure to make his presence felt again.
Thriving for current yard and followed course win with second of 21 in handicap (9/2) at York (6f, soft) 13 days ago. Raised 2 lb but another bold showing is very much on the cards.
Back on song when scoring at Ripon in September and poorly drawn when in midfield in 21-runner handicap (12/1) at York (6f, soft) 13 days ago. Respected.
Winless this season but holding his form well, fourth of 9 in handicap at Leicester (7f, heavy) 10 days ago. C&D winner too so he's shortlisted.
Useful 6f winner on AW this season but (100/1) well held on rare turf start in 7f handicap at Ascot 21 days ago. Others appeal more.
Three-time winner in 2019 but yet to get his head in front this term, though not disgraced when fifth of 24 in handicap (20/1) at Ayr (6f, good to soft) 34 days ago. Needs bit more here.
Looked excellent prospect when scoring over C&D and runner-up in useful novice here but (4/1) below-form twelfth of 24 in Ayr Silver Cup 34 days ago. Still low mileage so worth another chance.
On a lengthy losing run, but poorly drawn when well held in Ayr Silver Cup last time. Still needs to show lot more if he's to get back to winning ways here.
C&D winner last month but he arrives on back of underwhelming fifth of 7 in handicap at Nottingham (6.1f) 26 days ago. Needs to bounce back.
Yet to get his head in front this term but has showed promise on more than one occasion, suffering poor run when fast-finishing third of 11 at Ascot (6f, good) last time. Player off unchanged mark.
It's now eighteen runs since his last win in 2018 but he has largely run well this season, fourth of 10 in handicap at Catterick (5f, heavy) 6 days ago. Holds each-way claims again.
Winless since 2018 but is knocking on the door, blinkered when second of 9 in handicap (10/3) at Ayr (6f, heavy) 15 days ago. Not ruled out off same mark.

Forecasts
Tranchee (7/2), Jonah Jones (4/1), King's Lynn (6/1), Dazzling Dan (8/1), Aberama Gold (9/1), Aplomb (9/1), Tinto (10/1), Bernardo O'Reilly (14/1), Broken Spear (16/1), Danzan (18/1), Rathbone (28/1), Merhoob (125/1)
Lots in with a shout here but TRANCHEE has yet to finish outside the first two since joining David Loughnane and with more to offer at this trip he is taken to add to his recent course win. King's Lynn failed to justify support in the Ayr Silver Cup but had looked most promising prior to that so heads the list of dangers, with Jonah Jones and Tinto also very much considered in a useful sprint.
- TRANCHEE (IRE)
- KING'S LYNN
- JONAH JONES (IRE)
