Never truly convinced over hurdles for Gordon Elliott though he did step up on his return/yard debut when runner-up at Bath (13f) last month. The test this track provides should suit back over timber.

Better than ever of late, wide-margin Stratford winner before following-up at Newton Abbot (16.8f) 3 days later. Found out from a 10 lb higher mark at Warwick since but not discounted down in class.

Form: 3-57115

Eva's Diva^p1¹⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 10-5| J: Mr S Lee⁽⁷⁾| T: P W Middleton| OR: 105

Fair form in bumpers and placed on each of her half-a-dozen starts in this sphere last season. Nowhere near that level since returning to action last month, though, and good deal to prove at present.

Form: 327-6P9

Homing Star^p²⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 10-5| J: Lily Pinchin⁽⁷⁾| T: D Killahena & G McPherson| OR: 84

Modest Flat winner who ran produced easily her best effort over hurdles to date when second at Warwick (19f) in September. Not ruled out for each-way purposes despite a good bit to do on these terms.

Form: 855-752

Forecasts

Dariya (6/4), Authorizo (11/4), Ingenuity (9/2), Homing Star (13/2), Eva's Diva (8/1), Test Valley (66/1), Test Ride (100/1), Richie Valentine (200/1)

AUTHORIZO returned to form under a change of tactics when finishing midfield over further at Exeter 9 days ago and he's fancied to make his presence felt now dropped into selling company for the first time. Dariya may emerge as the chief threat if shrugging off a lesser at Warwick last time.
