Yet to kick on since last autumn's debut success but has shown useful form over 1¼m/1½m this year. Travels strongly so it's possible this much shorter trip will suit him. Still unexposed. Considered.
Clear-cut winner of 1m Pontefract maiden last summer but has proved rather disappointing in his 3 handicaps since, leaving Sir Michael Stoute since last seen in July.
Useful operator in France who may have needed the run when eighth in C&D handicap for new stable 3 weeks ago. Entitled to be sharper now and he's the mount of Tudhope from yard's 3 runners.
Cashed in on reduced mark at Ripon (1m) in August. Fair fourth efforts on his next 2 starts but his latest run here wasn't one of his best.
Back-to-back winner at Redcar last autumn for Tim Easterby. Last of 11 on return for new yard but much better signs with a tongue tie added when fourth of 15 at Newbury last time. One to consider.
Arrives on the back of placed efforts on his last 2 starts, including on heavy ground at Redcar latterly. Every chance he'll be in the shake-up again.
1m maiden winner last year. Drawn blank since but arrives on the back of a couple of creditable thirds over 1¼m and he merits respect now dropping back to 1m for the first time since that win.
Dual winner as a juvenile. Showed he retains his ability when second at Musselburgh (1m) last month and not seen to best effect at Beverley since.
Veteran who is on a very long losing run but there have been plenty of respectable efforts this term. Hard to fancy for the win, though.
Essentially hasn't fired this year but he's starting to look dangerously well treated and is a former C&D winner on heavy. Wouldn't be a shock to see him go well.

Forecasts
Brentford Hope (9/4), Mascat (3/1), Markazi (15/2), So Beloved (9/1), Fred (10/1), Sagauteur (11/1), Give It Some Teddy (11/1), Mikmak (14/1), Just Hiss (18/1), Joyful Mission (40/1)
It may pay to give BRENTFORD HOPE another chance to confirm the promise of his easy debut win a year ago. His last 2 outings have been at 1½m but he certainly travels well enough in his races to suggest this shorter trip might suit and most of today's opposition is much more exposed than him. Fellow 3-y-o Mascat rates a threat, while there were also better signs from Give It Some Teddy last time.
