Career best when winning 15-runner handicap at Bath (5f, firm) last month and not disgraced when fourth at Wolverhampton since. Ought to be competitive again.
Dual C&D winner at the end of 2019. Back to form when second at Chepstow in July but not seen since a lesser effort at Ascot at the end of that month.
Operating below his best at present, although he was prominent for a long way at Newcastle last time. Now 7 lb lower than when winning here in January so is well treated if staging a revival.
C&D winner. Sixteen runs since last win in 2019. 14/1, bit below form eighth of 15 in handicap at Nottingham (5f, good to firm) 15 days ago. Others preferred.
Tends to flash her tail but wins at Bath and Sandown on her last 2 outing show there's nothing wrong with her attitude. 4 lb rise unlikely to prevent another prominent showing from handy inside stall.
Not at best in recent starts but his mark is on the slide and he won on AW at a similar time last year. No surprise if he bounces back in first-time blinkers.
Wolverhampton winner last month. Not well drawn and probably best forgiven latest below-par fifth back there since. Makes polytrack debut.
C&D maiden winner in August but has been unable to make a significant impact in handicaps since. Return to this venue needs to help her.
Respectable fifth of 11 in handicap (9/1) at York (5f, good) 89 days ago. Fresh for the time of year and interesting to see if there's any market confidence behind this northern raider.
Seven-time C&D winner, the latest in July. Good third of 9 here last week, having to pick way through and unlucky not to finish closer.

Forecasts
Summit Fever (10/3), Newyorkstateofmind (9/2), Baltic State (5/1), Veleta (11/2), Chitra (17/2), Dazzling Des (11/1), Roundabout Magic (12/1), Zulu Zander (12/1), Spirit Of The Sky (14/1), Pink Flamingo (25/1)
VELETA is nicely drawn and gets the nod to complete a hat-trick. Roundabout Magic's run here last week suggests she's still handicapped to go close if things drop her way. Newyorkstateofmind is well treated if first-time blinkers have a positive effect, while Spirit of The Sky is the only runner Richard Fahey sends down from his Malton base so is worth a second look in the betting.
- VELETA
- ROUNDABOUT MAGIC (IRE)
