Winning Irish pointer who finished down the field in a Doncaster maiden hurdle on Rules debut 8 months ago. In excellent hands so can improve but needs to.
Winning Irish pointer who showed useful form in bumpers last season, winning 3 of his 4 starts, and is bound to be tuned up for this hurdling debut up in trip. Major player.
Showed ability in a trio of bumpers last winter, progressing again when second in 6-runner event at Catterick final outing. Should have a future over hurdles but this is a tough starting point.
Useful at one time on Flat (stays 10.5f) when trained in France, but well held only start in Britain. Sold from David O'Meara for only £3,000 in December and likely best watched on hurdle bow.
£30,000 3-y-o, Court Cave gelding. Dam (h88), bumper winner, half-sister to fairly useful chaser (2m winner) Cango. Winning pointer at fifth attempt in March and market can guide on Rules bow.
Showed plenty in a brace of bumpers last season, sticking to his task well when runner-up at Ludlow on second outing. This step up in trip will suit now hurdling and he looks a good prospect.
Westerner gelding. Dam (h82), bumper winner, half-sister to modest 21f chase winner Mcllhatton. Off mark in Irish points at fifth attempt in March and market likely best guide to expectations.
Scorpion gelding. Half-brother to bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler Meridian City. Dam lightly raced. Won completed start in Irish points in March. Wears hood for Rules bow.
Fair bumper performer in Ireland for John Joseph Hanlon, second twice in 2019. Goes hurdling for new handler now after 13 months off and is perhaps best watched.
Well beaten in bumpers and has yet to achieve anything of note over hurdles, last of 2 in Catterick novice when last seen 7 months ago.

Ask A Honey Bee (1/2), Lord Apparelli (11/4), Ashtown Lad (6/1), Thais Toir (12/1), Sunset West (33/1), Won't Talk (40/1), Isidor Bonheur Yes (50/1), Tudors Glory (50/1), Foster'sisland (50/1), Kings Cave (66/1), Wonderful Woman (150/1)
LORD APPARELLI and Ask A Honey Bee easily make the most appeal given their exploits in bumpers. The former finished 9 lengths ahead of Pisgah Pike, who is rated 127 over hurdles by Timeform, on his second outing at Ludlow and may offer the greater value. Ashtown Lad is in top hands and should leave behind his opening effort over timber, so is also worth a mention.
