Promising second of 12 in novice (20/1) at Redcar (6f, heavy) on debut 45 days ago, finishing well to be first home in centre group. Capable of better and winner has franked the form so a big player.

Proven on tapeta but he hasn't progressed with his runs and looked a hard ride when only eighth of 10 in maiden over C&D (10/1) 29 days ago. Others appeal more.

Forecasts

Castana Dia (13/8), Forbidden Secret (7/2), Acquisitor (11/2), Bravado (6/1), Split Elevens (12/1), Snap Out of It (12/1), Priscilla's Wish (16/1), Loyal Havana (20/1)

Verdict

FORBIDDEN SECRET showed plenty on his debut behind subsequent winner Showalong so is taken to edge out Castana Dia who also shaped well on her debut when third at Yarmouth and clearly has more to offer. Mark Johnston is always to be respected with his newcomers here so a market move for his Bravado would see him enter the equation too.

  1. FORBIDDEN SECRET
  2. CASTANA DIA (IRE)
  3. BRAVADO (FR)
