Big-field handicap winner from 1 lb lower at this venue in August 2019 (7.9f). Tri of solid efforts so far this term and a case can clearly be made from a handicapping perspective.
Dual winner in Ireland for Ger Lyons and runner-up twice over C&D for new yard last year. Failed to finish off each race with any purpose this summer, which raises questions.
Fell a long way short of his smart AW form in a brace of turf handicaps upon resumption and also has stamina to prove for this far.
Won twice last season and just as good without success for new yard this term, caught late on in a big-field C&D handicap last month. Also shaped well in the Cambridgeshire.
Built on a promising debut when opening account with little fuss at Doncaster and he also ran out a convincing winner on second handicap start back at that venue dropped to 1m. More to come.
Each of his last 6 victories have come at Ayr, latterly over 10f on reappearance in June. In better heart than a glance at this more recent form figures would suggest.
Ended lengthy losing run dating back nearly 2 years in 8-runner handicap at Newmarket last week. Up just 2 lb here so she ought to remain competitive.
Vastly improving 3-y-o who made it 4 wins on the spin in 10f Newbury handicap last month, again quickening well final 1f. There is more to come from him and a 5 lb rise could be lenient.
Won Spring Cup in 2019 and though yet to hit top form in 5 runs upon resumption, a fifth-place effort behind Ilaraab back at Newbury was more like it. Now needs to build on that.
Ayr specialist who proved at least as good as ever when fourth in a competitive C&D handicap last month. Remained in form since and consistency is hard to knock.
Australia colt who is going the right way, supplementing his Bath success back in a handicap at Yarmouth last month. Up 4 lb in a better race but dangerous to omit from calculations
Now 9 lb below his last winning mark, but unsurprisingly that is due to a very low-key season thus far.
Progressive Frankel colt who was promoted to second behind Ilaraab at Wolverhampton prior to readily landing 10f maiden at Ripon. Second on handicap debut at Ayr since and he retains potential.

Forecasts
Ilaraab (3/1), Matthew Flinders (11/2), Crystal Pegasus (6/1), Spirit Dancer (15/2), Anythingtoday (17/2), Aasheq (10/1), Johnny Drama (10/1), Iconic Choice (16/1), What's The Story (18/1), Chatez (20/1), Glasses Up (20/1), Fox Power (40/1), Nicholas T (40/1)
Tightly knit to say the least with 4 lb separating the entire field on Timeform ratings. That said, ILARAAB's profile is one of an upwardly-mobile 3-y-o, improving again when completing the 4-timer at Newbury last month, and he may well shrug off a 5 lb rise. Matthew Flinders also has his best days ahead of him and is feared most, with older-handicapper Anythingtoday also of interest.
