May have needed both comeback runs in recent weeks and he's back to only 2 lb higher than when scoring at Ludlow last autumn.
Placed in points. Wind op after finishing well held on hurdle bow and different proposition when winning at Cartmel (17f) in July. Backed that up at Southwell in August. Unexposed now handicapping.
Reached a fair level on 2 of his 3 starts in novice/maiden hurdles, but comfortably held in a pair of handicaps when last seen at the beginning of 2020.
Modest on Flat for Mick Appleby but has finished a fair third on all 3 hurdles starts (trained by Alastair Ralph first 2). Now tackles handicap company for first time in this sphere.
Pair of Market Rasen handicap chase wins this summer. Run of good form came to a halt at Stratford last time but type to bounce back quickly now returned to hurdles (runner-up twice last season).
Improved to land a Cartmel maiden last summer. Beaten upwards of 16 lengths in pair of handicaps since resuming his hurdling career so a recent wind op needs to have made a difference. Check betting.
Made a good start for Emma Lavelle with pair of Taunton wins in early 2019 but hasn't been seen since. Market perhaps best guide to what's expected after such a long lay-off.
Fair form when reaching the frame in maiden/novice hurdles. Ought to be competitive off this opening mark and respected as an unexposed sort.
Returned with an improved effort to land a Stratford novice in July. Dropped away to finish well held in handicap company at Market Rasen 12 days later and has since undergone wind surgery.
Fit from the Flat, well-held third on hurdle return at Stratford (2m) in July and pulled up at Southwell since. Others more obvious.
Successful off 3 lb higher in April 2019 and also scored twice in the Channel Islands later that year. Hasn't fired in 2 runs at Newton Abbot this term but too well handicapped to dismiss.
Bumper/maiden hurdle winner who has come down in the weights and offered more than previously in handicaps when fourth at Southwell last month. Needs to build on that now.
Lost his way towards the end of last season and no sign he's returned in any better form at Fontwell 13 days ago.
Winning Irish pointer who caught the eye on his final qualifying run at Doncaster in February and shaped well when second of 15 on C&D handicap debut/reappearance 16 days ago. Obvious claims.
Belatedly off the mark in 17-runner Newton Abbot handicap at the start of this month but not in the same form when only fifth back there since.

Rob Royal (4/1), Rock On Tiger (9/2), Mix Of Clover (13/2), Totally Rejected (9/1), Decoration Of War (10/1), Shanroe Tic Tec (11/1), Carry On (12/1), Nocte Volatus (12/1), Czech Her Out (14/1), Magical Thomas (14/1), Cotton End (16/1), Tierra Verde (18/1), Rukwa (25/1), The Garrison (33/1), Little Stevie (33/1), Buonarotti Boy (40/1)
ROB ROYAL made a promising start to his handicap career when runner-up in a similar event over C&D 16 days ago and is taken to go one better now under Jack Tudor. Unexposed pair Rock On Tiger and Totally Rejected could have more to offer in handicaps, while Little Stevie is the type to bounce back quickly from a poor run over fences.
