Verdict

GORDONSTOUN overcame traffic problems when opening his account at Lingfield (turf) and, having shaped well on the all-weather course on debut there in June, the return to this surface shouldn't pose a problem. Mister Allegro will be a serious opponent having now bypassed a Wednesday engagement. Full Marks and Burristo are not discounted either.
