Different proposition since switched to handicaps, winning twice over 23f at Market Rasen in recent months. Further 7 lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent hat-trick.
Unreliable sort but produced one of his better efforts when winning handicap hurdle at Carlisle (19.3f) in March. Fell at the first on yard debut at Sedgefield 11 days ago.
Has shaped like a stayer in a bumper and novice/maiden hurdles, so could do better now tackling longer trips in handicaps.
Best effort to date came when 4 lengths third of 8 on handicap debut at Ludlow (21f) in April 2019. Failed to fire last season but has been given a chance by the assessor on this return to action.
Right back to form when running into a promising improver at Uttoxeter (23.3f) in August. Suffered a breathing problem when below form at Southwell next time, so that effort easily excused.
Flat winner/modest handicap hurdler in Ireland but made a very low-key start for current yard last winter and fared no better on return at Cartmel last month. Plenty to prove.
Poor maiden hurdler who ran no sort of race at Newcastle when last seen 10 months ago. 5 lb lower now and did show a bit in a bumper early in his career but has enough to prove.
Won selling event at Fakenham in February but well below form both starts this season and may struggle again.
Placed in a point but has yet to better poor form over hurdles and offered little sent handicapping at Market Rasen when last seen 8 months ago.
Has shown no sign of ability in bumpers/over hurdles so has it all to prove on handicap debut up in trip.
Landed 17f handicap hurdle at Exeter last October but that's his sole taste of success from 34 starts under Rules, and was beaten a fair way back over fences last time.
Decisive winner between the Flags back in 2018 but lightly raced and no form under Rules, offering little in a first-time tongue strap at Cartmel 51 days ago. Easy to look elsewhere.
Forecasts
Millie Of Mayo (11/10), Pinnacle Peak (11/2), Little Saint (15/2), Cilluirid (8/1), Mrsgrey (10/1), Royal Flush (12/1), Bullion (18/1), Chance It (22/1), Percy B Shelley (40/1), Echo Express (66/1), Cryogenics (66/1), Sailing Away (125/1)
MILLIE OF MAYO is progressing in leaps and bounds and looks up to completing the hat-trick. Of the opposition, Pinnacle Peak is a potential improver now tackling longer trips in handicaps, while Little Saint's latest effort is easily excused having suffered a breathing problem.
- MILLIE OF MAYO
- PINNACLE PEAK
- LITTLE SAINT (IRE)
