Latest win at Kempton (6f) in March and excellent placed efforts the last twice, beaten only by Prompting at York 47 days ago. getting better by the run and drops back in grade, so big player.
Career best when winning 9-runner handicap at Chepstow (7.1f, good, 11/4) in June followed by a creditable third in a handicap at Windsor. Not seen for a couple of months since, but hard to dismiss.
Arrives in terrific form and scored over C&D in July, so everything in line for a bold showing in first-time cheekpieces.
In good form this season (should have won on second outing) before seeming unsuited by testing conditions at Catterick last time, so a quick return to form is anticipated.
Winner in Ireland in 2019. Placed a couple of times this summer but latest effort at Beverley was pretty tame.
Opened account in Wolverhampton maiden in July. Respectable fourth back in handicap company at Haydock (7f) 18 days ago, but is exposed and looks summed up by his mark.
Successful in 6f events first 2 starts last summer. Yet to make an impact this term but hinted at a revival from sliding mark when sixth (poorly drawn) at Chester last time.
Career best when making all in 7f handicap at Musselburgh but seemed undone by a rise when only fourth at Hamilton 28 days ago. This looks tougher still.
Well-bred filly who has been generally progressive and had a bit to spare when scoring at this track a month ago. Should go on progressing for a while, so leading claims.
Charm Spirit colt who has offered promise amidst inexperience on both outings to date but has been handed a rather stiff-looking opening mark.
Fair maiden who was below form on final outing for Ger Lyons 38 days ago and makes limited appeal having been picked up cheaply by a small yard.
Forecasts
Tacitly (13/8), Zip (5/1), Marshal Dan (6/1), Global Spirit (8/1), Alix James (9/1), Sermon (10/1), Proud Archi (16/1), True Blue Moon (18/1), Macho Time (28/1), Soar Above (33/1), The Cincinnati Kid (50/1), Early Bright (200/1)
TACITLY had something to spare at this track last time and has the scope to go on improving for a while yet, so she's an obvious choice up against more exposed types. Zip is bang in form and, along with Soar Above, should ensure it's not all plain sailing for the selection.
- TACITLY
- ZIP
- SOAR ABOVE
