Followed an excellent fourth in the Great St Wilfrid at Ripon with success in a 15-runner event at the same course 7 days ago. Thriving now and still well treated on old form, so leading claims.
Plenty of solid efforts in 6f handicaps, including good second off a strong pace over C&D 38 days ago, but losing run does stretch back to Meydan in January 2019.
Inconsistent sort who often races freely. Again did too much too soon at this course (7f) last time, so drop back in trip should help after a break.
Has good as ever and quite consistent last term but it's hard to imagine he'll be sharp enough to take this following a 10-month absence.
Scored at Kempton in July, then seemed undone by a rise when only midfield at Chelmsford last time, so he's vulnerable to better-treated rivals.
Didn't look in much form when last seen 56 days ago so hard to make a case for despite first-time cheekpieces and a sliding mark.
Steady improver on AW over the winter and has continued the good work on turf, back on track when fourth at Newmarket 24 days ago. One to consider in a first-time visor.
Successful at Bath in June but down the field there next time and has never scored from a mark this high, so up against it back from 56 days off.
Six-time course winner (including in the mud) who scored at Windsor in July and was just touched off back here 11 days ago. Another bold showing is expected.
Forecasts
Abel Handy (11/4), Dream Today (3/1), Quick Breath (4/1), Pettochside (7/1), Beyond Equal (17/2), Rock Boy Grey (10/1), Little Boy Blue (20/1), Delagate This Lord (22/1), Glenamoy Lad (25/1)
ABEL HANDY was only kept up to his work to make all at Ripon 7 days ago and this thriving 5-y-o is fancied to follow up under a penalty under another positive ride. Course-specialist Pettochside could prove the main danger having been beaten in a photo over here recently, while Dream Today's chance can't be ignored.
