As consistent a sprinter as you'll find and gave his all again when splitting subsequent winners at Newcastle (6f) last month. Wouldn't rule out despite a big weight.
Touched off on return at Newmarket but hasn't been in the same form since, down the field twice at York (where he usually goes well) the last twice. Mark dips below 100 for first time in 2 seasons.
C&D winner who has progressed again this term, winning at Newmarket and shaping well in first-time cheekpieces over 5.4f behind a stablemate at York last time. Worthy of respect back down in trip.
Has improved further for new yard, winning 5f Windsor handicap under this rider and shaping well in strong apprentice event at York (again hung right). Mark unchanged and well worth considering.
Made up into a useful sprinter in 2019, scoring twice impressively over C&D. Should have come on for York return after 11 months off and could show a lot more back here.
Real improver upon joining this yard last summer, winning 3 handicaps over 5f. Like his stablemate Copper Knight though, has been a bit disappointing since a promising Newmarket return.
Dual 6f winner last summer and had returned in good form in strong big-field handicaps until struggling behind Jabbarockie at York last time. Cheekpieces on now and could bounce back.
Successful return at Beverley and ran well at Newcastle last time. Not so good at latter venue over 6f 8 weeks ago though and needs to bounce back.
All the better for return when capitalising on falling mark at Chepstow in July and not seen to best effect when fancied for stronger race at Sandown a fortnight ago. Cheekpieces given a whirl now.
On a roll and made it 3 wins in a row at Musselburgh (5f, soft) last week, arguably value for a shade extra than margin of a neck. Up in class but could be up to the task in his current mood.
Admirable front-runner who has been chinned late the last twice. Will find those tactics even harder to pull off in this tougher handicap.

Came From The Dark (9/2), Aplomb (9/2), Wonderwork (11/2), Danzeno (13/2), Jabbarockie (13/2), Count D'Orsay (11/1), Militia (11/1), Ishvara (12/1), Dave Dexter (14/1), Wrenthorpe (16/1), Magical Spirit (33/1), Copper Knight (33/1)
JABBAROCKIE ran a blinder for a long way in first-time cheekpieces at York before finding the extended 5f too much. A C&D winner, he can strike off 1 lb lower with this test more in his favour. Aplomb was behind the selection on the Knavesmire but remains the type to pick up a race like this and has headgear fitted now himself. Militia is thriving and can't be dismissed in his bid for a 4-timer.
