Pair of wins on softer than good last year. Out of sorts when last seen but capable off this mark if primed for this return under Silvestre De Sousa.
Below form on both comeback starts in June so others are more persuasive back from 10 weeks off.
Benefited from a cool ride when arriving late to score at Doncaster in July but he's not the easiest to predict and has been below par 3 times since. Needs things to drop right.
Dual 5f winner in 2019 but he has proved very in and out since return, not on a going day again at Beverley 17 days ago.
5f Ripon maiden winner last July. Off since finishing fourth back there last August but returns as an unexposed sort from a leading yard. Interesting to see how she goes in the betting.
Looked promising as a juvenile but disappointing in his 3 starts this year, leaving Richard Fahey after latest. Still early days but the change of scenery needs to have done him some good.
Much improved when winning 11-runner C&D handicap (good to soft) 25 days ago, forging clear. Up 7 lb but she has the potential for better again for this yard now she's up and running.
Decisive winner at Thirsk in June. Placed twice since and not seen to best effect when sixth of 8 at Chester since (likely still in form).
Runner-up on C&D reappearance in June. Disappointed on next 4 starts but back on song from his reduced mark when second at Sandown 13 days ago. Player if able to string good runs together.
Placed twice prior to resuming winning ways over C&D (good) 24 days ago. Ought to remain competitive after a 5 lb rise at a course where's he's been successful 3 times.
Three Southwell wins at the beginning of the year. Also runner-up over C&D in July but hasn't fired since, including back at Southwell on Monday.
Forecasts
Shepherds Way (10/3), Fantasy Keeper (5/1), Tom Tulliver (11/2), Somewhere Secret (13/2), Fox Hill (7/1), Seen The Lyte (8/1), Afandem (12/1), Majestic Sands (14/1), Red Stripes (25/1), Cloudea (33/1), Helvetian (40/1), Celerity (150/1)
SHEPHERDS WAY could easily have more to come for Julie Camacho and is taken to make light of a 7 lb rise for her C&D win in July. Tom Tulliver bounced back to form when second at Sandown recently and he was runner-up off 9 lb higher over C&D on his reappearance so he could go well again. Somewhere Secret's good track record also earns him a place on the shortlist.
- SHEPHERDS WAY (IRE)
- TOM TULLIVER
