Lightly-raced sort who made it 4-5 in handicap at Doncaster final 4-y-o start. Disappointed when sent off favourite for Wokingham on return but not disgraced in good quality event here since.
Won the Ayr Gold Cup last season but 2020 has been a write-off so far. Easily opposed.
Dual winner of 6f Newmarket handicaps in 2019 but yet to hit top form this season. However, now 3 lb below last winning mark so can't dismiss completely.
Progressive when winning 3 times at up to 7f as a 3-y-o. Only one real effort of note last term but suggested he's slowly coming to hand when mid-field at Newcastle in June. Tongue strap on 1st time.
Confirmed himself back in form when just failing at Hamilton, denied a clear run, and went close again at Chester since. Threatening to come good soon.
Losing run is mounting up but posted best effort of season when not beaten far in Great St Wilfrid at Ripon, not clear run. Might have found next run coming too soon so not ruled out off good mark.
Listed winner earlier in his career but not so good nowadays and others more likely.

Bielsa (9/4), Auchterarder (9/4), Breath Of Air (4/1), Lord Oberon (9/2), Dazzling Dan (5/1), Danzan (11/2), Hyperfocus (15/2), Troubador (10/1), Vintage Brut (12/1), Angel Alexander (12/1)
BIELSA failed to meet expectations in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot on his return but he took a step back in the right direction when fifth in a good-quality event over this C&D next time and is worth another chance back in this less-competitive handicap. Danzan has been knocking on the door of late and is an obvious threat, while Hyperfocus is lurking on a dangerous mark.
