Amasova¹⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: C Lee| T: K R Burke

10/1

Failed to build on debut second here when (5/1) last of 8 in 7f Chester novice 15 days ago, though did too much too soon. Worth another chance.

Form: 28

(9)

Bay Of Whispers¹⁷

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: S M Levey| T: R Hannon| OR: 76| BF

9/4

Fair maiden who (6/4) shaped as if return to 6f would suit when staying-on fourth of 12 in novice at Beverley (5f, good) 17 days ago. Enters calculations.

Form: 8224

(1)

International Lady²¹

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Connor Murtagh⁽³⁾| T: R A Fahey

33/1

22/1, never a threat when ninth of 13 in novice at Pontefract (6f, good to firm) on debut 21 days ago. Needs a big step forward here.

Kornflake¹⁷

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: A Mullen| T: K R Burke

12/1

11/2, green when seventh of 12 in novice at Beverley (5f, good) on debut 17 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. Sort to do better now upped in trip.

Form: 7

(6)

6/1

9/1, never able to land a blow when third of 5 in novice at Bath (5.7f, firm) on debut 29 days ago. Bred to be better suited by this stiffer test of stamina so no forlorn hope.

Form: 3

4/1

25/1, stepped up on debut effort when running-on second of 12 in novice at Yarmouth (6f, good to soft) 10 days ago, caught further back than ideal. Open to more improvement so holds leading claims.

Forecasts

Bay Of Whispers (9/4), Zahrisa (7/2), Series Of Dreams (4/1), Ladywood (6/1), Mejthaam (6/1), Amasova (10/1), Kornflake (12/1), Auroch (14/1), Worldly Wise (33/1), International Lady (33/1)

SERIES OF DREAMS sets a decent standard and, with more improvement in the pipeline, is fancied to open her account. Zahrisa also has better days ahead of her so looks the one to give George Boughey's filly most to do, although the consistent Bay of Whispers is worth a second look too.
