Twice-raced winner who got off the mark on debut at Hamilton in July. However, that form didn't work out particularly well and he was only fifth of 8 in minor event at Ayr (6f, heavy) 29 days ago.
Twice-raced maiden. Last of 8 in maiden at Beverley (7.4f, good to firm, 28/1) 30 days ago. Can only be watched on what he has achieved to date.
Once-raced maiden. 3/1, fourth of 6 in minor event at this C&D on debut 68 days ago, essentially held back by inexperience. Open to improvement with that under his belt.
Twice-raced maiden. Matched debut effort (fair form) when third of 11 in maiden at Hamilton (6f, good to soft) 21 days ago, keeping on well. Fancied to give another good account.
Foaled January 23. 15,000 gns foal, Sepoy colt. Dam sprint maiden out of winning half-sister to winner up to 6f The Brothers War and US Grade 3 1½m winner Beauty Parlor. Likely best watched on debut.
Foaled March 30. €30,000 yearling, Mastercraftsman alf-brother to 7f-10.7f winner Reckless Lad and 2-y-o 5f/6f winner Sun'aq. Dam, maiden (stayed 13f).
Foaled April 24. Exceed And Excel colt. Half-brother to 7f winner Five Diamonds. Dam 7f/7.6f winner. Stable’s newcomers always worth a second look.
Once-raced maiden. Seventh of 10 in minor event at Haydock (7.2f, good to soft, 17/2) on debut 47 days ago, unable to sustain effort. May well do better.
Foaled March 24. £4,000 yearling, Pearl Secret gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including 2-y-o 5f/6f winner Juncart and winner up to 7f Brigand. Dam 2-y-o 6f winner.
£150,000 purchase who was in deep for debut and duly showed plenty to work on when a staying on sixth in the Group 2 Lowther at York (6f) 2 weeks ago. Obvious claims dropped to calmer waters.
Foaled April 22. Dutch Art filly. Half-sister to 2-y-o 7f winner Maurice Dancer. Dam lightly-raced half-sister to useful winner up to 1¼m Zest. Market should guide on debut.
Forecasts
Bellissime (8/11), Montassib (5/1), One Over Par (7/1), Kats Bob (7/1), Fayathaan (12/1), Tommy Tittlemouse (18/1), Oh So Quiet (28/1), Let's Be Honest (50/1), Meisterzinger (66/1), Thornaby Pearl (80/1), Alive Wire (150/1)
BELLISSIME was pitched in at the deep end on her debut in the Lowther, yet acquitted herself with plenty of credit in midfield as she stayed on. Open to improvement on the back of that, she can capitalise on the marked ease in class. Kats Bob has made a solid enough start to his career and along with newcomer Montassib, heads the dangers.
- BELLISSIME (IRE)
