Didn't need to be at best when winning 5-runner minor event at Lingfield (10f, AW, 10/11), kept up to work. Off 6 months. Makes handicap debut and there may be better to come.

Forecasts

Pitcher's Point (6/4), Lady Sansa (4/1), Durrell (9/2), Bavardages (9/1), Verify (11/1), Media Storm (12/1), John Jasper (25/1), Sootability (40/1), The Corporal (40/1), Louis Treize (50/1), The Throstles (50/1), Secret Art (66/1), Wind In My Sails (100/1)

Verdict

BAVARDAGES confirmed himself a totally different proposition on all-weather than turf when scoring at Wolverhampton just under a fortnight ago, doing especially well to reel one back that got first run. He can follow-up here from just a 3 lb higher mark. John Jasper improved for the switch to handicaps so is taken to chase Mark Johnston's charge home, ahead of Durrell and Pitcher's Point.
