Fairly useful at his best and returned with good second over C&D in June. Not quite at that level since though, including over hurdles 13 days ago. Needs bit more.
Course winner and good fourth in 12f handicap here when last seen out. That was 16 months ago though so fitness is clearly a big concern on his return.
Landed gamble in fine style in 10f Pontefract maiden but raced too freely up in trip when only ninth of 10 in handicap at Goodwood (12f) last time. Well worth another chance now back at optimum trip.
Three-time winner in 2019 but not seen since last in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 177 days ago. Others appeal more.
Eleven runs since his last win in 2019, and only twelfth of 15 in handicap (5/1) at Hamilton (9.2ft) 18 days ago, though he went off hard in front. On decent mark so could easily bounce back.
Resumed with 10f win at Redcar in June but (25/1) last of 9 in handicap at Goodwood (11.2f) 31 days ago. Plenty to prove now.
Signed off for 2019 by completing a four-timer but (12/1) off 9 months before below-form fifth of 10 in handicap at Haydock (8f) on return. Assessor not relented so others more persuasive.
Fair maiden who (12/1) wasn't disgraced when fifth of 7 in handicap at Doncaster (10.2f) 16 days ago. Less exposed than most here so one for the shortlist dropped 2 lb.

Question marks over a few of these but SARVAN had been progressing well prior to racing too freely upped to 12f at Goodwood last time so is confidently expected to bounce back here. Splinter still has few miles on the clock so could have a say dropped 2 lb, while Poet's Dawn isn't ruled out either if he can get his own way out in front this time.
