18/1, always towards the rear on 1m Pontefract debut a month ago. 2f step up in trip should help based on breeding.
Poet's Voice gelding. Dam, 1m-1¼m winner who stayed 1½m, half-sister to smart 1¼m-1½m winner (stayed 1¾m) Connecticut. Yard not a regular source of 2-y-o winners and likely best watched.
Left debut well behind when promising third over 1m at Haydock (good) 20 days ago. Likely he has more to offer and this could represent a good opportunity for him.
In top hands but sent off at 16/1 and dropped right away to finish a well-held last of 8 on Sandown debut 24 days ago. Clearly early days but will need to leave that well behind.
Pearl Secret colt. Dam, maiden (stayed 1½m), out of unraced sister to smart winner up to 9f Naissance Royale. Tongue tied. Needs a betting check for yard which has unearthed the odd useful 2-y-o.
Promising sort. 11/1, third of 6 in maiden at Wolverhampton (8.6f) on debut 16 days ago. Should progress with that experience under his belt and could be the one to give his stablemate most to do.
